"Forever Young" actually wasn't German synth-rock band Alphaville's highest-charting single, but it's probably the song that comes to mind when you think of this 80s band. This slow-jam that celebrates youth has become a staple of sorts at high school dances, graduations, you name it. Since its 1984 release, a ton of acts have covered it as well including Jay-Z to One Direction, who did a rendition of it while they were still on the X Factor.
